She wasn't "plucked" from the strip club to be a rapper. She was stripper and got on Love and Hip Hop with hopes to start/enhance a rap career. shyt just went better than she thought. There will always be someone "working on their music" one big break away from fame. She got her break and I'm happy for her. If she were a dude it wouldn't be this much hate.Rest assured, Cardi's type of rise to riches/notoriety story is a one time deal.
Not going to create residual effects.
B just had the perfect storm go in her favor.
Quote this if i'm wrong... but don't foresee anything like this occurring again. Labels aren't going to strip clubs and plucking future musicians like that or else they would have.
.
The "you're out of touch" argument is weak. We're saying its bullshyt, been bullshyt, and always will be. No way in hell I'll be happy for someone who has no fukking hand in the music they are receiving so much musical accolades for. If it makes me mad or a hater, oh well.
Y'all players better step ya game up. Act right and you might get a sniff of the p*ssy
No more throwing 1s, 5s, 10s, or 20s in the clubs, it's strictly 100s

"Greatest hits? I ain't never heard none of them." MOST of those albums/artist you mentioned aren't really mainstream. I could give you Astroworld, but compared to the number of singles that blew up off Cardi's album compared to Astroworld and there is no longer a comparison. LMAO at sliding J.Cole's album in there though...you tried.
