Sweeny is up there with Suzyn Waldman as the biggest Yankee fans that cover the Yankees. Sweeny is the biggest apologist around. It's annoying...as is his sensitivity to criticism of the org.

i gotta believe that if arod stays healthy next year, he's at about .280/25/100.
that's still top ~5-8 3b production. it's not 30 mil a year production but it's not bench status.
the majority of our lineup has been shyt and he's taking the fall for it. it's unfair because no one was expecting arod to carry our offense. that was on robby and he fukked up even worse. but we're definitely not moving cano so we gotta embarrass arod like this.

If the yankess are willing to take Heath and pay for about 80% of A-rod contract then why not to Miami but i doubt that the horrible front office of the Marlins do such a good move.Knowing the marlins they will say they have a bunch of good young players and play them till we are last in the NL East again.
Yankees have handled this ARod thing so poorly.
