they made a unfriendly ballpark to fans with dikkhead security guards maybe if they realized half the reason people went was for the atmosphere they wouldnt be in this predicament.

This stadium is in the Bronx in NYC and it is more or less a landmark

It's a huge target for not only terrorism, but also for acts of violence due to the fact that there are thousands of people crammed into a building, some under the influence of alcohol.

Especially after 9/11...shyt got locked down at the stadium

I'm cool with not allowing backpacks in the stadium but at the same time sometimes I go after work and I have my laptop bag but they don't allow you in with laptop bags so it can be a hassle

I understand where they're coming from....but these security guards are just straight up dikks....and when you hear guys like Levine and Trost open your mouth, you know exactly where this type of shyt is stemming from.

Last year, Tuesday rainy night game against Seattle where CC almost threw a perfect game...I was with a charity organization for 9/11 kids that was brought in by the Yankees for Hope Week...we had good seats, they let us move into the empty legends section...about 5 minutes in...we had 3 security guards telling us to move immediately or else we'd be thrown out...keep in mind they let us move down there to begin with and im with one 10 year old and 12 year old kid. The organization is terrible with PR.

Smh. fukking Stankees. The economy, and fans realizing that they can enjoy the game better in the comfort of their home on their state of the art 200 inch hi definition, 3D television is the reason attendance is down.

fukk the Yankees, I had to drop 48 just for upper deck seats last week for the Subway Series. If I spent 48 dollars at Citi Field they would change my fitted and give me a new beer during the 7th inning stretch.

Most of their fans is rich folks from upstate anyway..... for a team that plays in the BX they really shyt on the common man frequently
