I have to question your taste when you downplay this Cordae album and then turn around and say this...

I like this album a lot. I’ve played it from start to finish with no skips like 4 times.

But I’m not a Chance fan and have zero expectations or context. Apparently his fans ain’t feeling it.

This is how I feel. The album is very solid, but there's something very generic about it. He obviously can rap, but it does seem like he's imitating (particularly J.Cole).

Idk if he got star potential but buddy is nice and got a good personality a la breakfast club interview.

He got bars but this is a PROJECT. Young boys don’t make projects like that anymore.

Even with the lisp dude got an nice singing voice too. I’ll buy if he drops the vinyl
