I felt like this until I played someone who cared to play real basketball and not turbo and dunk. 2 guys running plays and real offense, shyt is beautiful. I do not play my player at all though.2K25 is one of the worst 2K's produced over the last decade. Terrible dribble mechanics, terrible player movement, terrible spacing. Just a joke of a game unfortunately.
I only run plays, full playbook of mid post screens - backdoor cuts.... High low actions etc...the poor player movement that I mentioned greatly impacts the viability of using a majority of the plays in any playbook as the poor programming for players reduce their ability to recognize where they need to be on the floor for certain plays to work.... For example try running a baseline flare screen to open up a corner 3 look. What you'll routinely see happen is your screener will completely miss setting the screen because of their poor spacial recognition and inability to adjust to where the defender is....it's just a poorly made game bruh... 2K24 was better and 2K22 was better as wellI felt like this until I played someone who cared to play real basketball and not turbo and dunk. 2 guys running plays and real offense, shyt is beautiful. I run that play quite a bit and it works a lot for me unless the defender avoids/slips it. I have my complaints like lebron doing dunk contest shyt in traffic on default, but the movement feels okay to me. All the players feel different. This is a load of crap. AI actually playing defense and hitting shots, 20 thru 24 could neverit’s the clunkiest game this generation with variable gameplay elements.
Its not even better than 2k24 nor 22 imo.

2K2-2K24 you could not go directly at the basket no matter how open the lane was (some years were better than others), you could not create space for jump shots AT ALL, The CPU scored 70% of their points off passes and backdoor cuts, the CPU didn't run fast breaks, the finishing around the basket was awful and the animations you were forced into killed any chance of an open look.This is a load of crap.
