Alabama beat the shyt out of Michigan, Florida beat FSU, South Carolina beat Clemson (without Lattimore), Georgia beat the fukk out of GT, LSU beat the fukk out of Washington...

What more needs to be said? Notre Dame and Michigan played to a standstill. The Bama/Michigan game was over before it started.

All those teams you just named were meh.. and the blowouts were against bad teams. The only legit foe was FSU and that game was close.

If Michigan is "meh" than why couldn't ND put them away? It's because both of them are "meh" and not seeing Bama. If it was a single game.. I could see an argument but not only did ND struggle against Michigan, they struggled against Purdue, BYU, went to three OT's with Pitt of all teams....

Colt Mccoy sonned the big 12 but he was worthless in the NFl, every USC QB has been shytty yet somehow they dominate in the Pac 12, Terelle Pryor is 3rd string in oakland yet he was beastin in the Big10.


Its almost as if being good in college doesn't necessarily translate into being good in the pros, who woulda thunk it?

Its called a rivalry game breh. they play EVERY YEAR. You can't compare Alabama playing Michigan for the first time in forever (in a season opener no less) to a rivalry game.

I have a feeling that there would be a thread on how the SEC is overrated regardless of the games results....

Low scoring game = SEC has no offense
High scoring game = SEC defenses are overrated
Blowout = Only a couple great teams in the SEC, the rest suck

Just name a conference with better defenses then we can debate.

.........Oregon has a sorry ass defense so probably not....but Oregon could beat all those schools you named this year....Stanford could definitely hold a few of those teams to 14 points and under with those offense's that they run...
