Yeah, these robots are going to be gunning for jobs in about 5-10 years.

The Truth
1 of my neighbors has a robot to cut his grass....and it looks good :ehh:
I was going to get one of these someday.

Basically, you create a layout boundary with wires around your backyard and works similar to a robot vac. You can adjust the height, it knows when it rains, you can pick the layout, you can set a schedule, it returns to it’s charger, etc.

All you might need to do is move sticks or rake.

Koalabama and the Cosmos
for something that’s going to change the world people still find ways to over exaggerate some shyt

Yeah:

  • Half these bots are never going to come out
  • The overdramatic ass music is going to make folks even more paranoid, despite bullet point 1
  • Robots break down=Humans get sick and need time off
  • Most of these videos are proof of concept
Remember in the 90s when Virtual Reality was supposed to be a major threat along with computers....

This is basically a do-over at that, and watch by 2030 we're still going to be waiting for one of those pieces of junk. If anything, AI is the one putting in work and we haven't even seen its final form yet.

Robots are so yesterday news :russell:

This is what they mean by bring jobs back. AI and robotics is getting close to where they feel comfortable scaling and bringing production back because it will be cheaper or parity with china without the logistics risk (see Covid)
Yeah, unless you’re basically untouchable like some top 5% engineer this factory jobs are going pure robotics.

No BS, a lot of the blue color going to be done by A.I and robotics as well.

The main problem/limiting factor are the sensors, not necessarily the algorithms. Once robots can take external input accurately for whatever domain they need, it’s game over.

Theoretically, robots can take more measurements than humans can as they can be given tools to intercept signals from a wide range of frequencies that humans can’t sense without external tooling. If they have those sensors installed they can read and process directly then react wasting very little time.

It’s all input -> process -> output.
Over and over.

What's gonna happen is you will have "humans in the loop" for failsafe, maintenance, and reporting purposes but the idea is the robots will make the humans 10x + productive so you won't need many people, so they aren't lying when they say there will he new high paying jobs the thing is we don't need all you nikkas lol. Now with declining birth rates and cutting back on immigration it MIGHT ease things but USA is big as shyt still

Problem is; and this how we know Trump is a moron, because he doesn't even bring the people along who are on his side; he didn't create any policy to incentivize the investment. He just said "Tariffs!"...

Big tech backed Trump because they were informed he would deregulate the industry so they can speed up progress, JD Vance was the guy handpicked by these folks with Trump just being the figurehead the tarrif stuff was a curve ball for most these big companies
