Year almost done and once again the AOTY won't be coming from the South.

actually even tho K. Dot is a great choice for AOTY and the popular choice amongst people that understand rap/hip hop... IMO, Chicago has the best album this year... Back From the Dead :leon:
Tho a free "mixtape", it's all original production and lyrics, so might as well consider it an album... Who cares if it was free online?

And yes i realize that a lot of Kendrick fans and "hip hop purists" will :pacspit: me for that choice but... good music is good music, i dont really care if Keef's music is super lyrical and "deep", it fukkin bangs and i can't stop listening. That's what ultimately matters. I dont listen to music to be smarter or gain knowledge, just to be entertained and feel good.

Keep in mind, I love the K. Dot album as well, so no hate

That Killer Mike is AOTY for me, although Kendrick, Apollo Brown/Guilty and Roc Marciano are close contenders.
