So, it seems to me, more and more developers are one upping former publishers by creating Knock Offs of the very games that gained them notoriety(See: Bloodstain as the latest example of this trend).

The kicker is (pun intended) that they are being directly funded by the very people who have been demanding these games for years (IKR, people will actually buy what they want.? :dwillhuh: Who would've guessed :stopitslime:)

Whether deemed economically non viable( and consequently, shelved), or given to a new developer to make it more "accessible" we all have gaming franchises that we'd all "pay x amount of dollars for".

So with that being said, what old IPs that are currently wasting away (or are just shells of there former selves) would you like to see a spiritual successor to?

My pick? Zone of the Enders. My absolute favorite mech game ever. Seeing as konami and kojima have all but taken each other to court, the slim chance that this game had a seeing a sequel is gone.

I'd love for Kojima to make a game named Area of the Limited : High Speed Tactical Mech Action :noah:

Take that same slightly cell shaded 3d art style and make a game centered around mechs that transform into ships, tanks, vehicles, and submarines :ahh:
