fukk ya'll nikkas hating hard on coolio. nikka dropped a certified classic and nikkas wanna downplay. Beat was classic, hook classic, coolio's performance classic. Lv's breakdown classic. There's absolutely NOTHING wack about it.

nikkaZ HATING IS JUST ANOTHER CASE OF nikkaS shytTING ON IT BECAUSE IT GOT SO MUCH BURN

...orrrrr maybe there was just a lot of shyt better than that at the time and some of us fukked with that more. I can't speak for anyone else, but the airplay it got has no bearing on me not liking it. I didn't like it cause I thought it was weak. Hearing it repeatedly only helped me like it even less than I already did.

You just another fukk nikka/hater. Always wishing the boring weak songs got more credit, while downplaying nikkas that actually did they thing.

Comments like: "Ah, another one of these threads.
Jeru's album is without doubt one of the best of '94... Illmatic is the best of '94. That's how."
Confirm this.

Funkdafied, bruh? I should negate your lame ass post just based off that alone.

But I'll play...

In 1995, there are songs that got bumped just as much as that Coolio shyt and I ain't hatin' on them. That summer while you were in love with your Dangerous Minds soundtrack, I was bumpin' 'One More Chance', 'I Got 5 On It', 'Youre All I Need...', '1st of the Month'... all songs that also got lots of airplay. I just didn't like THAT weak shyt. I see you're tryin' to depict me as one of 'them' nikkas, but you got the wrong one. Even if that song hadn't been a big hit, I wouldn't have liked it. I wasn't a big fan of it before it blew up or after it did. Just cause you rocked with that lame-ass shyt, don't try to push it off like whoever didn't was just hatin'.

And on top of that, I don't give a shyt about something being East Coast or West Coast, nor did I back then... try to catch up. It boiled down to one thing: do I like it or do I not like it... and I didn't like 'Gangsta's Paradise'. So the fukk what. I don't even get what a completely unrelated post I put up a week ago has to do with this.

WTF... 'reflects my character'? :rudy:

Postin' on the Coli ain't that real to me, bruh. Don't get it even more confused than you already have.

Point is, I don't care who bumped what, where they bumped it, or any of that bullshyt. Coolio's music in general was always weak IMO, and there was a number of popular artists/songs back then that I did like. nikkas who really did their thing and are still held in high regard today. And all the same there were underground songs I also bumped. Whether it was Nas, Jeru, Bone Thugs, Big Mike, Biggie, MC Eiht, Wu, Spice 1, Snoop, Mic Geronimo, Scarface, or whoever the fukk. That Coolio shyt was gangsta rap lite for extra-cacky cacs and kids.

Well if you don't stand by what you say, being that what you say on the coli "aint real" then i guess this conversation is pointless.

I'ma go ahead and guess that reading for comprehension ain't exactly a strong point of yours...

I stand by everything I say on here. Assuming that it reflects "my character" is where you should not get confused. :manny:
