u dumb fukkIt isn't.
People paid for a device that actually had the Jayz album on it.
People just logged into their google account and hit 'yes' to download the Kanye album.
Big difference.....people actually forked out money for one versus the other.
so now we going platinum by giving out your album for free?

Samsung's numbers are not being counted by Billboard, but RIAA is counting them. Those one million copies are not included in the number you're looking at because Billboard won't, however it's the RIAA that certifies. What Jay-Z somehow pulled off is much more impressive. Dude basically bootlegged his own album and gave that shyt out for free to Samsung users and then 1.1 million people bought it anyway.#69. Kanye West - Yeezus - 5,600 (630,000)
#76. Jay Z - Magna Carta...Holy Grail - 5,300 (1,104,000)
#148. 2 Chainz - B.O.A.T.S. II #MeTime - 3,300 (221,000)
Well if Samsung bought a million out the gate.....![]()

go back to school
One of the better albums of 2013. Production was crazy, lyrics were meh but the concepts were cool and it wasn't the same ol I flip a billion bricks or I got so much swag or look I really kill and sell drugs to my own people believe me please please trap rap. He put a lot into the album sonically. The music itself is top notch. Blood on the leaves, on sight, I'm in it, bound 2, can't hold my liquor all well thought out musical pieces. Glad it went platinum
