Does anybody that is black actually like this album here? Like others posted this definitely sounds like it was geared towards Europeans. I'll probably never listen to this trash again.

I like it precisely because theres nothing like it.

Change takes time.

Then again, I've gotten into way more House/EDM/Garage/Jazz lately so i'm really openminded to my concept of "music" these days.

I welcome it all.

Rap has been too stale and not enough artists are taking chances.

This should be applauded regardless.

Yup. Liked it on my first listen and the more I listen the more I like it. The only song that doesn't sit well with menus on sight really. I guess I see why people don't like the album, it's really different. I'm not gonna make some excuse about how you need to hear this with certain headphones or how this is pushing the boundaries of hip hop. You either like it or you don't. I didn't like WTT and 808s is my favorite Kanye album so we aren't all gonna enjoy the same thing. No need to insult anyone on either side for either "not getting it" or enjoying it. It's just music.

I like how NOW Pitchfork is just a bunch of hipster cacs whose opinions don't matter, but if they shytted on this album, nikkas would be like, "Pitchfork just ETHERED Kanye! This shyt is a flop! :ooh::gladbron::blessed::stylin:"

Miss me with that "critics dikkride Kanye" bullshyt :rudy: Is that why 808s, Cruel Summer, Graduation, and Watch The Throne all got mixed reviews upon release

Many of these critics were very warm towards those albums (minus maybe Cruel Summer).

Yeah, they were generally positive, but there are critics who don't co-sign everything Kanye does and wouldn't blatantly give him a good rating just cuz he's Kanye like people assume.

Breh, don't worry I clocked on to the subliminal racism I just didn't want to go there from people saying you're all 'hood rat rap fans who never leave the hood and all you listen to is rap' and more...

Don't worry breh I caught those bits, funniest thing I live in Germany and very far from 'the hood' and also have a masters degre but because I didn't like it people were quick to assume I was some hood rat in a ghetto who is on welfare and can't read who has no knowledge of the world outside when it's actually the opposite.

People are going at very low blows to explain why people don't like this album.

I see it, breh, I see it. I'm just waiting till people say 'all y'all do is eat fried chicken and watermelon and can't read that's why you don't like this you are uneducated'

I won't be surprised if someone takes it there.

Anything to defend Kanye right?
The irony is it's actually the ones who are unexposed to other sounds of music, ignorant dare i say, that are being blown away by the ''groundbreaking production'':mjpls: seeing Daf Punk live in keyspan park in brooklyn years ago is precisely why i just don't get the hype with this album :manny:

Hopefully the sales are really good and other rappers realize how boring their music is and step it up
