Did you protest today?

No, to be honest I'm kind of not very comfortable in these very big protests. Also public transportation was all but shut down so didn't really how I could go there and come back. A friend of mine who was there told me some people were stuck for like 2 hours in the same spot because on one side there were so many people and on the other the police cut off some streets.

Not sure on Le Pen winning. They tried to use the Gilets Jaunes mouvement and got pushed back. Haven't really been able to capitalize on this whole anger. Ironically the rising islamophobia means that racists can vote for other parties than Front National. Mélenchon doesnt seem to have able to capitalize on these social movements neither. TBH, I don't know what the next elections will bring. Extreme-right will get a lot of votes for sure, but I'm not certain they'll get enough. Next elections are the local level in March, will be a good test since it'll be the first elections since all of this started.
