Y’all need to chill out on this defensive hopes, the rookies and second year players have to perform first before we can trust the defense

Breh we signed two of the top 15 LBs in the league free agency and now have a decent pass rusher in Yanick Ngakoue and a sneaky good pickup in Bravvion Roy who’s good against the run this is going to be a whole new defense the front seven will have new front seven only jack Sanborn and Justin jones will be the returning starters and both was the only good players in the front seven once we traded roquan and quinn

Breh all I’m saying is if healthy this defense will be top 15 in the league watch  That’s why I’m calling 9-8 or 10-7 as the record for this season
So you saying they going to be mid?

No I’m predicting a playoff berth either the 6th or 7th seed the best case scenario is the the bears make the playoffs and the panthers have a top 3 draft pick and we get another haul the 2024 season could be special

That’s not what I asked
If you say they will be top 15 are you saying the defense will be mid

Nope it’s 32 teams 12 to 15 is above average now the team doesn’t have a lot of depth so if injuries happen then the defense will be mid

the secondary has been showing out all camp, so the praise and excitement around them is reasonable. Brisker is gonna be a flat out stud and Eddie refound his game and is now the leader of this team, which is so great to see after he learned from that 2018 squad with Fangio.

Gordon is finally flourishing in the nickel role and moving him around. And the two rookies both look ready to play opposite Jaylon, who has had a great camp.

Again, Eddie stepping up as leader is great to see. This team needed someone to step into the role. As good as Quan was, he never gave me leader vibes.

I just wish we had more talent up front on the DL. Yannick will help but it’s not enough.

The linebacker group is very solid.

I went to family fest today at Soldier Field. It was fun but I thought the passing game was still lacking. It was only one practice but Justin was holding the ball longer than he should at times and there weren’t many down the field throws. Just one practice but that was what I saw today.

Y’all gotta expect the fact that Justin is going to hold on to the ball similar to Russell Wilson and deshaun Watson :yeshrug: Patrick mahomes hold on the the ball a lot too it is what it is:yeshrug:
