Fair. Unless NFL Network is right that they haven't had Fields discussions until they got Caleb's medicals.

the plan at the time of Poles saying that was for Caleb to come to Chicago immediately after combine and do his medicals. He and his team pushed it to after his pro day at the end of the month last minute. It definitely screwed the Fields trade process up. Poles rightfully wants to see the clean medicals before making final decision. If Caleb is gonna be a Bear, he didn’t do his future team any favors by rescheduling his Chicago visit

I'm not surprised by Fields market value. A non passing QB with a 10-28 record won't have teams clamoring for him like that. If we don't get a haul, keep him. Let him start, groom Caleb and see if Fields can increase his trade value

No one said that we just said Caleb fukked up Ryan poles plan by not taking his visit this week it's obvious the bears want Caleb in the building before trading fields if the bears was interested in the other quarterbacks in the draft fields would've been traded and they wouldn't have ask Caleb to take a super early visit since all top 30 visit isn't scheduled until after pro days I still believe Caleb will be QB 1 but Caleb definitely fukked up poles plan by not taking the early visit
