I'm a "stuck in the 90s" nygga, but I listened to the album because I fukked with his singles.

You would have to be extremely wack to sound bad over this production. The production is good for what it's going for.

I wasn't expecting any kind of lyrical wizardry whatsoever, but this guy has got to step his bars up. My nygga, you had Nolimit D list rappers, I can't even call them rappers, but they were street nyggas thrown in the studio who can spit better than this nygga. They didn't have the practice this nygga has had, as to my understanding he's had several mixtapes.

It's aight for what it is

maybe because my expectations were low and its surpassed them by far but this is great.

really enjoyable album..nicely sequenced, crisp and i know i'm going to enjoy this more in the summertime.
an album about gang banging, robbing, fukking bytches, dudes fukkin your woman, killing and putting your momma through hell but i'd by lying if this shyt didn't put me in a good mood and put a little bop in my step... had me ready for the day ahead.

Jay Rock...:ooh: he is molesting these dudes albums.
Mamma I'm Sorry is real...felt that...Ty Dolla and Terrance Martin :ohlawd:

whether YG builds a fan base from this or fades out he put out an album that did what he wanted to do and he can be proud of.

the booklet reveals that Ali (TDE) mixed the tracks

he did a great job again..album sounds very crisp.

Yeah man that's my only gripe with YG. It's like he's only targeting a certain demographic with his rhymes. I think he definitely can step his lyrics up if he wanted to, but a lot of cats ain't trippin so he like fucc it imma just swag rap on the beats and do the bare minimum. A couple tracks on here tho, I can tell he didn't want to be completely outshined by the beat or feature.

Finally got to play this in the gym today, shyt was perfect. BPT, I Just Wanna Party and 1am especially had me going hard. Sorry Moma was dope for a warm down too.

I've gotta see how this ages on me but I could be enjoying this more than Qs album.

First listen I thought yg was just rapping over the same beat the whole album but after relistening and hearing stand out tracks, bpt, left right, do it to ya, me and my bytch (which I feel like is that standard bytch track but I think the way the song flows is dope and the hook is mad catchy), really be, thank god interlude (gorgeous shyt), sorry momma, and bompton (which I think bangs harder than all the tracks on the album that sound similar), I think the album actually is a sick album I'll be listening to and excited about for a good month. Overall I think the album just straight up bangs and the back half of it gets mad melodic and emotional almost, and even though he has all those typical songs you need as a gangster rapper, I think he does them all mad good. His raps are always sick too like I love that first verse on "really be" where it's like just him
