Pharrell only sold 113,000 copies of his album and he has the number one song in the country right now. That pop shyt normally doesn't have crazy huge first week numbers anyways so he still might do gold. He did 70,000 in the UK which is pretty good over there.

selling this much isn't good on a major, but it really depends how much promotion was put into it. YG is a strictly west coast nikka, probably cali specifically. nobody from def jam is doing shyt cause all them years they was spending more money than taking in cause records sales was bogus. idk why he would sign there instead of interscope though

I guarantee he pushes at least 120,000 1st week. The streets and the kids fukks with him too tough for him not to at least do that. If he doesn't then Def Jam did a horrible job at promoting dude. He should be all over the breakfast club and hot 97 right now. His album dropped today so we'll see.
