WAS IT ARMED ROBBERY?

IF SO, THIS IS GOOD FOR HIM.

Peep this

2019

2025

2026

This dude in the article just got shot for trying to do a home invasion two days ago (in the 2026 article) but if you peep the article from 2025 - he was arrested in part of a criminal organization involved in kidnappings, murder, robbery and home invasions in December of 2025 but somehow he was out on bail and STILL doing home invasions.

In the 2026 article is where you see he gets shot and arrested and charged this week. He was doing this shyt way back in 2019 and getting back on the streets and doing more crime. We need more judges like the one in OP in my city because nikkas get away with everything in Toronto.

I believe it helps them sleep better at night.
Yes, putting someone in prison that committed armed robbery and getting them off the street probably makes her pillow a little softer.

There are discussions to have about sentencing reform and prison industrial complex and all that. I'm not leading those discussions with this particular gentleman.

I seen DUI cases where they killed a person get less than 10 years.

25 years for robbing a store is excessive, 5 years the most.

He didn't get 25 years just because he robbed the store, he did other things and was causing trouble in jail. 5 years for armed robbery though is way too light.

the system has to decide if it's about rehabilitation or incarceration

right now its geared towards the latter

Violent gun crimes should be 50 years minimum. I'm not loosing any sleep over this guy.

If that gun was in your face or your kids face you wouldn't be complaining that 25 years is too much. This country is too soft on violent crimes and too hard on drug and nonviolent crimes. I will never cape for a violent criminal.

situations like this prove that harsh laws/sentences ain't stopping shyt in this country
all the states with the highest per capita prison populations are all republican strongholds with super tough laws.
you still need to fix the systemic reasons these dudes commit crime if you actually care about having a crime free society

So there is nothing between 0 and 25? :jbhmm:

Okay and fukk him he went into a store and terrorized people with his gun - which easily could’ve turned in a murder. Anyone that much of a fukking loser to hold up a convenient store and terrorize the customers inside should be doing 25 years. Too many nikkas get a slap on the wrist and they back on the streets with the bullshyt.
why 25, give him 50 or just kill him

OP throwing out the bait and watching everyone fight over it is nasty work. He knows what he was doing when making this thread.

Yall feeling sorry for dudes throwing their lives away to the system?? :mjlol: dude shouldn't be doing that shyt in the first place. Doesnt matter if he gets 5 or 25. His ass should know the system and how they give it up to black men out here. Stop feeling for these guys giving themselves up to be incarcerated as if they dont know they are in amerikkka.

Good. People committing violent felonies need the key thrown away.

...robbing convenience stores is not something a functioning member of society should be doing.

All that needs to be said. They took him out of society because he clearly could not function properly within it. If I was a judge, I'd be heavy-handed with sentences on violent felonies like this too.

fukk that dude, but my point was just that the sentencing is wildly inconsistent. The crime I presented is just as or more heinous and caused the loss of life.
