Threatening death with a deadly weapon during a robbery is not something the vast majority of society does. If you do that, 25 years is better than you deserve. In GA armed robbery gets you a mandatory 10 for pleading out. If you blow trial, you get life. The sentence is crazy but these crakkkas don’t give a fukk about you. They will hide your ass for decades, I believe it helps them sleep better at night.

It also probably leads to less armed robberies since those convicted for armed robberies are in jail…

Which would lead to more safety in the community and a warning for those who want to try to commit robberies.
