I think they realize too many people wouldnt actually see it as them teamin up but rather them battling each other on tracks no matter how much their verses contribute to a concept.

well, consider the following facts: Just before Life is Good dropped, somehow, the video of Nas hanging the Jigga dummy came out. Just after it dropped, to critical acclaim, Jigga's writer Dream Hampton attempts to discredit Nas's writings, using quotes from Jay-z's artist Jay Electronica....and then Jay mentions Kelis in a song...NO..there will not be any collaborations between the two. Jigga has OBVIOUSLY used his tactic of sending people to do his dirty work and tried discredit Nas. If I saw that, Nas saw that. It ain't happening, other than one of them releasing something in the vaults, that was already done.
