When I was raising chickens I had a hen that birthed many generations, and even survived a stray dog attack. Dog took a chunk off her back n she kept going.. She lived longer than any chicken I ever seen. Outlived generations of her seed.

One night some thieves attempted to rob our crib, when they couldn't get in the house they went to the coop and slaughtered the birds. Old lady ran and came back the next morning as one of the only survivors. She wouldn't die and she was old n tough as hell with battle scars. We had to put her down finally. That day I didn't eat Chicken, out of respect. Most chickens are dumb cluckers but this bytch had a personality, made her hard to eat
