Yes they can. Love the person not the lifestyle. But we have to remember to look through our political shades every once in a while . Is homosexuality as a whole beneficial to our communities? If every black women and black man dated a person of the same sex ,where would the next generation of blacks come from? Test tubes and beakers ?

Yes they can and many are. There's a misconception by whites that it would benefit them to hire black gay men over heterosexual black men because they perceive gay BM as "non-threatening". They fail to realize that gay black people put up with far more racism in the gay community than heterosexual society, which makes some of them more resentful of white society and more willing to break down their system from within. They are more likely to have a "negro wake up call" as the racism they face is more blatant than in mainstream society. This is part of what motivates some of them to be pro-black.
