i told you real facts, and I'm not here brag about what i have compared to you friend. i am simply stating facts that i saw growing and schooling in this country. Most of the people i knew from school either A. did not go to college or B. dropped out after the first year of college.

It's really no secret of how immigrants succeed. Work harder than anyone else, put in more hours, save like it's nobody's business, frugal like a mutha, strong family support, strong community economics, hire their own, and strong strong sense to succeed, strong need for education

Exactly. It's a way to put down Black Americans so these posters who come from immigrant families can feel good and special about themselves, all while watching our sports, listening to our music, dressing like us, talking like us, etc.
Compare 40 million people to not even 1 million people, brehs. Black Americans can swallow the immigrant populations of Nigerians, Dominicans, Haitians, whatever the fukk up and not think twice.

I got a cousin who came to this country at 18 not knowing a word of English living in queens bridge
I asked him how it was to live there
He said it was great
It had running water, constant electricity and that it's safe
He had no idea that it was the projects and that he's suppose to feel trapped
7 years later he's about to graduate from st johns
Not saying everyone is like that
People just have to put shyt in perspective
If people didn't have section 8 and medicaid and welfare and food stamps and wic and all these government assistances they might see shyt different
They might work hard and appreciate an opportunity
Bruh, im not talking only about people who come from impoverished conditions in their home country. Go to the UK, France, Spain, Japan, etc.... those people come here as immigrants and you get the idea that they are all hard working people but if you go to the UK, France, Spain, etc......there are a lot of lazy mufukkas on government assistance just like there are here in the States.
I'm in no way trying to bring down black people. I live in a diverse neighborhood. I'm just talking about the shyt I see. My experiences. And yes I love black culture. The music. The sports. I relate more to blacks than anything else. I get love from blacks more than anyone else. I'm an Americanized Dominican and just calling it like I see it.

Immigrants are successful when they come here cause black Americans put the years in so non-whites can have such opportunities to succeed.
Not necessarily but that's just one of the byproducts. It's just that for the most part we are able to distinguish between our WANTS and our NEEDS.
No we dont need:
- A $15 haircut every week
- A $100+ pair of sneakers
- A car that cost over 2/3 of our annual salary
Some people here have the mentality of "if you make it you should spend it". Like this girl i was dating. I remember looking at a pair of jeans that i loved but the shyt was $85 and i'm like fukk no and her response to me was "well, why not? You make twice my salary and I buy those all the time. You can afford it. Just get it". As she said that I had the
look in my face thinking..this is how some people actually live their lives.

Its all classicism and stereotyping, but in America American Blacks are placed in the lowest class and everyone (everyone including black folks) buy into the stereotype...Everyone needs to stop buying in to bullshyt and division. It doesn't help anyone except the cacs in charge...
When I first touched down in Brazil, I made sure I got in contact with Black Brazilians and attended Black Power meetings even when I didn't understand what they were talking about. These are the people who are putting in the work so a brotha like me can come down there and make money. But of course the underclass has a lot of black faces and that's due to the history of Brazil. I can't act like I'm better than them cause I got a little money. They went thru things that I didn't. I plan on doing a lot more to give back and help brazilians become economically empowered. The same thing applies to American blacks even if there are more opportunities in the U.S. The culture of poverty is a real thing and can affect a family for generations. The social policies that were put in place, the segregation, the horrible education, the prejudice all plays a part in why some black Americans to this day are still in a cycle of poverty. But we also had a lot of brothas and sistas who made power moves and broke out of it. All black people around the globe need to learn each other's history and accomplishments and band together. We have different cultures but there will always be a certain level of understanding that can be reached so we can get money together. Its frustrating when I see brothas arguing over who is lazier and poorer.
