IM about to stop using this shyt. Apparently biracial people are only black when they do things that black people benefit from and can take racial credit for. Ex. X, Marley, etc.
But if you're a biracial person who lives as a black person and goes through black hardships than it doesn't matter
I don't even consider myself biracial. My mother was black and white and my father was Afro-Dominican. Meaning African descent and Dominican nationality. Don't know how that makes me biracial but according the coli, I am.
It's just insensitive to say that biracial people aren't black. When plenty of them face the same hardships that full black people face, and that ride out for the cause. You take someone like J.Cole. Who was raised black, speaks on the issues, gives back to the community, and acknowledges and has dealt with the hardships of being black in this country, and then tell him "you ain't black" it just seems wrong to me. But it is what it is.
I don't distance myself from the black community, but if this shyt actually grew fire and became a serious topic, than I wouldn't support it, at all. It isn't right.
