Never did get into Angel. I stopped watching Supernatural after season 2 and it was straight

The high points in Buffy were better than anything in Angel, but Angel overall was the better show.
The reason Angel>Buffy is cause while Angel started focusing on tight TIGHT cohesive grown folks storytelling and a single story arc that lasted the whole series (with only Conner being a bump in the road of enjoyment)
Buffy lapsed into things like Magic being a metaphor for drug abuse, the Terrible Trio, Riley the Red Herring. crook nose Buffy being a masochistic slore and the dangers of random gun use.
While being pure crack when it wanted to be, all of these things make Buffy seem horribly dated in hindsight.

lonely hearts (second episode season 1) actually one of my favorite noir episodes of angel.

that doyle death eppy...the nazi metaphor had me like
the one eppy when gunn was forced to go at his own dudes at the karaoke bar...reminded me of reverse cism shyt a lot of white folks absolutely hate...definitely felt that was a shot at black militarism
That whole season was one of the best in TV history IMO. Kept on getting crazier and crazier and crazier.

just finished watching the whole series on netflix (for like the 5th time, since it originally went off) that damn series finale is still goon personified 
.....i had forgot all about illyria exploding ol dude face with a punch when he was clowning wes for think he could fuk with him ...then the end with illyria, gunn, spike, & angel all ready for the fukkery to begin it just dont get no better

Stuff like Willow being a magic addict took up a whole season, got magically solved by Xander appearing out of nowhere while she was binging and giving her a hug. lmao
And yeah, that whole Vampires as a metaphor for Black people while using Blacks as the racists made my stomach churn.
