Now that LeBron hasn't been even top 5 for a while, they've totally forgotten about trying to use "advanced stats" to validate who the best is. Now its simply media declaration and a couple of nice games in the playoffs.

By the standard Bron stans used from 2005-10, LeBron hasn't been the best player in the NBA since 2013. From 2014-2017, Kevin Durant and others have CLEARLY surpassed him.

His style of play alone (with the right pieces) puts his teams above around 25-27 of the other NBA teams. Ive always maintained that Bron-Ball is flawed, but LeBron is going to be the only NBA Superstar in history to say that he won 3 rings playing his way.

Kobe had the championships back then. He had the media saying he was the best. And obviously all his peers said he was the best. The only argument these cacs had was based on "advanced stats". And they kept repeating that shyt acting like PER and win shares determined who the best player was. Now that LeBron hasn't been anywhere near the lead in those "advanced stats" since 2013, I've not heard a peep about PER or win shares determining who the best player in the NBA is anymore. Now they say LeBron is the best cause the media says so or because he's led his team to the finals every year out of a weak conference.
