Aint that flow a traditional West Coast flow?

Yes:mjlol:.....drakeo's stanbase is a bunch of weirdo's who started listening to rap 5 years ago. Absolutely nothing about drakeo's flow is unique or brand new. He's using a traditional west coast flow and lingo that's been around for decades.

In a perfect world Drakeo and Chike would’ve worked together. Drakeo would’ve went so crazy on hey now specifically :mjcry:dot was definitely a fan of his.

I also think most stars or organizations don't honor Drakeo like that due to how antagonistic he was. He used to really trip for no reason.

Edit: Updated "honor" to "don't honor".

The lack of any direct shout out to Drakeo is weird too, not gonna lie.
I heard nikkas saying this, but I just really listened to Peekaboo…this nikka even shouted out Rami the jeweler

Kendrick oughta be ashamed of himself

I think in retrospect, people are going to feel uncomfortable with how much shyt kendrick is talking on here. It’s in direct contravention of his positive image all these years.

Thats why is said…he’s playing with a lot of local negative energy he may not realize he opened the door for...

Maybe I'm misinterpreting you, but there is no local negative energy he's playing with on GNX. GNX is purely a showcase to LA and California. Nothing negative about anyone from LA was said on the album.

For me it feels like when Victory Lap came out. Nipsey wasn’t negative, but he was claiming his throne and just standing on his greatness. And he was taken from us.

Its like, a different game out on the west coast.

Granted, Kendrick was never outside like that, but this still…just feels like kendrick is playing with a very different energy than he was before and I dont see enough people talking about it.

Kendrick was fully outside, he just never got put on the set. I'm going to need for people to re-evaluate who they think Kendrick is lol.

But the only reason it feels like he's playing with different energy is because of how dominant he was in the battle and that energy has been the same for a full year now. He also doesn't speak much, so when he does people listen. His words (whether through speaking or rapping) command attention.

Speaking on the Nip shyt. Nip is from a gang full of back stabbers. They have that rep for a reason. Nip was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time. Truly a freak situation if Big U wasn't involved (which I don't think he was). It's not a fair nor an apt comparison.

Houston, by way of Pittsburgh.
I still don’t hear what y’all talking about. Drakeos flow was more lazy, Kendrick’s isn’t. The only thing that’s similar is the accent and lingo, but they’re both from California so that’s not surprising at all.

It's moreso the timing of his flow and delivery that's basically a direct copy of Drakeo's. A wholeeeee lot of these Cali/LA dude's have a variant of his style these days.

That's not to say GNX isn't great in it's own right, Kendrick elevated that sound and made a classic. But it's easy to see where he got that inspiration from.

lol he did...music is still fire but we dont gotta lie about where he got some inspiration from.

The whole GNX was a Drakeo diss

I haven't listened to it since I realized it

Rest up soldier :mjcry:

Do i think there some drakeo influence? Yes

but to say this entire album is kendrick biting his shyt is beyond lame.

I’m still curious as to how this album is a diss to him?
