Did he refuse to give GKMC flowers or does he just prefer GNX? If he gives GNX an A+ but gives GKMC an A, then what are we really talking about here?

He gave flowers to gkmc and tpab, even admitted these were 2 of the best albums ever, he just said, multiple times, like many people did, that gnx was better.
There is no way in hell anyone from any region should be ranking GNX above those two. That is the point.
He said tpab was a top 5 album of all time in any genre, and gkmc one of the best rap albums.
He's just saying gnx is even better than both in his opinion.
GNX ain't better. I'll die on that hill. Those two albums literally have zero skips.

GNX is kendrick's 2nd best album imo, after tpab.
I'd rank gkmc at the bottom of his catalog tbh
You're free to enjoy another album more if you want.
Gnx is better than both imo though. No skip. Perfection. I skip at least 4 songs on gkmc and it has more musical flaws.

This ain't really surprising. Gnx has been by far the biggest album on the West since Doggystyle or 2001. We haven't heard an album getting played like this in the street since those albums. It captured wc hip hop perfectly, has its own signature sound, and every song is a hit.
I'm not mad at anyone ranking it its best album. At the end of the day, it all depends on your taste and we're discussing perfect albums with different sound made for different audiences. Everyone is gonna have a different #1 kendrick project.
My favorite Dot album is still TPAB, but GNX is slowly becoming a close second. I believe it has way more merits than any Kendrick album besides TPAB.

First time I heard NLU, I thought of Suga Free and 40water. Drakeo flow always sounded 40water inspired flow. Drakeo(before his murder) being the most recent artist to incorporate that flow, it’s gonna be attributed to him as the “Drakeo flow”. Like when Big Sean claimed Luda stole Sean’s flow, and Luda dropped Bada Boom(big Sean diss) and had to show him those flows been around since before him.
