Change is inevitable...
Because it's not an STDI don’t understand this virus. It makes no sense
They say it can live on surfaces for 15 days but 98% of the people with it are gay men who get it through sex. This shyt really looking like an STD to me but they not classifying it like that
It just happens that the way it popped off was because gay mens lifestyle made it a lot easier to pass from one person to another.
HIV was never a gay disease HOWEVER when it first popped off OUTSIDE OF AFRICA the reason why it hit the gay community so heavy was because that lifestyle (anal sex) makes it easier to pass from one person to another.
Furthermore, that era was rampant with drug use via needles. So you got gay dudes smashing other gay dudes (or down low gay dudes) while ALSO sharing needles with straight AND gay dudes, and THAT'S how it got into the straight populations because even if you weren't gay, if you were sharing needles with people who are gay and then having sex with women, they too could pass it on to other straight men because even back in the day, dudes weren't trying to use condoms with women. And some of those women were ALSO sharing needles with straight men or gay men who had HIV.
It was really a perfect storm of fukkery that could have been avoided if someone had just put a bullet in Ronald Reagan's head instead of his chest but alas here we are.
The thing with MonkeyPox though is that you can get it from ANY prolonged contact, which is what makes it far easier to catch than HIV, which as people have pointed out, requires a certain level of exposure to blood/bodily fluids.

Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim - I told y'all it wasn't a gay disease! astaghfirullah
