Who cares if it's female dominated? There's males that go into nursing all day.
Read about it. If you're interested look into your local CC. Should be cheap too.
No 'we' wouldn't. That's like working 6 days a week, 1 off and saying 5/2 is being greedy.
I understand we have to work to contribute and pay bills, I just think 4 10s should be offered more. If I'm still working 40 hours you can't say I'm complain and want 3 day work weeks.
from 8pm to 11 or 12 is a good 3-4 hours you could be putting into learning or a hustle.
thats a solid 15-20 hours during the week
60-80hours a month you have to build up something......
not sure what the problem is.
You realize the entire basis of your point is that the STANDARD is 5 day works weeks. 5 days is cemented as a comparison point. A switch to 4 would be cool and keep you happy. If the original labor laws called for 4 then we'd want 3. It's human nature. And how are you gonna just ignore my second part about our work not being tied to our survival? People don't hate work. they hate the fact that work is seen as bullshyt and a waste of their time. If you had to build your own house I doubt you'd be trying to split work into certain increments.
Lastly, we're ignoring the type of work too. If you run a tech support center you might need to have 24/7 staff which would lead to some people working undesirable schedules.
What I meant was, does it have the nurse stigma?
After 12 years I'm ready to hang up this 9-5 stuff.
Wish my photography would take over![]()
Anybody calling for 3 days is lazy and would be laughed at, human nature or not. Any smart person would know that it's not feasible to work 3 days and have productive economy. So No, we wouldn't be complaining to have 3 days.
