If Durant was the sole reason OKC lost or won, then it's the exact same scenario as LeBron. Cle and OKC were only gonna go as fara s Durant and LeBron took them. They both chose to get some others to carry the load. Is it bytchmade perhaps, but LeBron was reaped the benefits of being a bytchass nikka 3 times.

STephen A still mad KD told him he aint know shyt about his FA business. He still tight he got called out
That's all this is. He was claiming Durant was teaming up with LeBron on the Lakers and he was all for it. He wasn't bytching about Durant running to join another star. The Lakers were going to be good again! :gladbron:

But then, Durant called him out and told him he didn't know shyt. Then proved he didn't know shyt by going nowhere near the Lakers. Now Stephen A is very very sad :mjcry:

He had dreams of his Lakers being good again and getting praise for predicting it. Maybe he could ride the wave and get transferred to LA to cover them full time. But no, he once again has proven he knows nothing about basketball, the players just see him as an old head with a bad hairline , and his ass has to stay in Bristol with false predictions and an absence of credibility. He is in a position to suck dikk for a living.

I probably should have cleared that up, I realize prior to Bron getting there the Heat were an average playoff team, but when he got there with Bosh, they became a stacked team by" Big 3" standards.
True, but they constructed that team together. It was an experiment that worked. KD is going to the team that was 4 points from winning their second consecutive title, won a record 73 games, and before he joined them, would have been the favorites to win it all next season. Weak. As. Fukk.

Nah, I agree with Chris, this is the same in that the if you can't beat them, join em mentality. Bron went to a stacked team and KD is doing the same thing. Stephen A bringing up the Gloria/Delonte thing as a counterpoint tho.:mjlol:

cant beat them ? they had a 3-1lead... KD went chuck mode and lost them game 6.

bron did not go to a team that was already stacked. the warriors have the best roster in the league WITHOUT KD

damn i cant stand chris broussard.....hes only kissing ass so he can be in KDs good graces to try and get a scoop later. hes flat out wrong.
these situations are not alike, and KD is bytch made AF for this

you don't win 66 games with a shytty cast. And LeBron was inefficient thtoughout that finals run. Other players stepped up. In the finals nobody showed up including LeBron.

Not to mention they had a 2-1 lead on Boston in 2010 when LeBron inexplicably quit on his team and rumors swirled that Delonte West was dikkin down his momma. That team had Shaq, Jamison, Mo Williams.

lol.....if they were so good why were they a lottery team when lebron left ? couldnt even sniff the playoffs in the weaker conference.

the thunder have the talent to win it all, but KD has already given. hes 27-28 and already ring chasing like hes 35. this is pathetic breh

At the end of the day KD couldn't see OKC winning a championship so he bailed. While they were thisclose to the Finals, they still blew it in spectacular fashion and nothing says they even make it back to that position outside of speculation. Once you don't believe you can win somewhere and you're the best player on the team then it's time to move on, if winning is that important. And if you move on then you want to move to a similar or better situation.

Is this situation similar to the Heat? Not on the surface, but you can draw parallels with a guy in LeBron who knew he couldn't win where he was at and desperately needed to validate himself as a champion.

The situations are more alike than they are different. In both cases, the star player left a team that had always been in contention but had been falling just short. In both cases, the player left town to join better players on a new team.

It's different in that the Warriors had already had success as a team first but if you look back to 2010, LeBron didn't have the option of joining another good team in their caproom. Any team that was halfway decent was maxed out. The only way he could get on a better team was to join up with Wade and Bosh the way he did. The only way Durant could get on a better team was to join the Warriors. Where else could he have taken a max contract and been in a better situation to win than he was already in? People can complain about both situations, but it's just because they're :umad:
