Yo....wtf no one is outraged over this Verizon Data plan change?

Having to gauge the amount of data used on a phone is still a ridiculous concept

That's what kills me.

You out with your boys and one of them is like " did you see that video online? You should check that out!"

You pull out your phone to dial *3282# first to see how you are doing with data so far this month

These motherfukkers gave it to us...then when they realized how much of a stupid idea that was, they took it back.

And everyone pushing this cloud shyt now too? Word??

It's my sad reality on AT&T now, even with my "unlimited" data plan. The first couple months I was like "fukk em" and would hit the throttle cap (3gb) like 17-20 days into my billing cycle and deal with 2g data rates for the rest of the month. But then I couldnt use maps, or siri and all kinds of stuff. Now I've gotten in the habit of checking how much I've used before I download a podcast/album or go to youtube

I used to facetime over 3G (while jailbroken) all the time before the throttling, Now that the carriers have everyone by the balls of course they're going to allow us to do it and then rape us with overages on the back end.

It's just $70 for the data. Add $40 for the phone (assuming it's a smartphone) = $110.

As I said in my earlier post, the data prices are too high. I don't care what kind of excuses you wanna throw out there, they're too high. Period.

Right now you can have unlimited talk and text with 2 GB of data for $120

Or on June 28th you can have unlimited talk and text with 1 GB for $100(if you dont use it, which most dont, save $20) or 2 GB for $110(save $10 for the same thing you are paying for now) or 4 gb for $120(spend the same amount you are paying, but get double the data you currently have)

why are yall so bad at math

I'm over here laughing at what the internet has turned folks into. This nikka mad at us for criticizing this bullshyt plan. He bringing up stats about people using less than a GB per month now, but what he ain't seeing is how this will fukk folks over in the future. Literally everything will involve streaming. Podcasts, Music, Videos, and people even watching games on their cell phones now.

Folks with grandfathered plans need to be careful though. I remember when I had a grandfathered plan @ AT&T and they started doing remedial shyt like saying they wouldn't sell me a phone over the internet/phone because of my account and blowing me up constantly to say I didn't pay my bill when I did then say, "It'd help the problem if you upgraded."

Verizon fukked up on this one...this plan would kill us if we switched to it. All heavy data users get screwed on this.

They should have made 2 tiers of this plan.

Unlimited minutes and text for $40 per smartphone

700 minutes and unlimited text for $20 per smartphone

I don't like the fact that they are forcing unlimited minutes on me.
