What are your thoughts on it and/or your experiences doing it? I'm curious since I'm gonna start the week after next (taking a 1 credit class for school to finish up).

Resident brown man coming through.

I love it. I do a couple routines sporadically throughout the week. Nice exercise and the cool thing is that you can adjust it for how strenuous you want it to be. it can be as simple as light stretching or a serious test of strength and flexibility.

recommended.

What were some notable changes that you felt physically or mentally that you've noticed when you first started?

fukk if i know dude i started doing this shyt when i was like 6 when i went to temple.

feels nice, you feel flexible, balance, your mind clears if you got too many thoughts.

think of it as a combination of meditation and exercise

I love yoga!!!

I prefer slower, more purposeful styles of yoga that focus on the mental and breathing aspect of the poses. I've tried more athletic/aerobic yoga classes that just didn't do it for me although it was a great workout.

My mental clarity and focus really improves when I'm doing it consistently. My balance and posture are way better. I'm more flexible and focused and feminine in the sack :shaq:

The only thing I didn't like is when I do bikram yoga (which is hot yoga, in a room with temps of like 105), my muscles are so relaxed that I sometimes overextend them and feel :flabbynsick: the next couple days. Great for detoxifying though

I feel Yoga saved my back. I was feeling :flabbynsick: before, but since adding it in to my routine, my body feels better.

I did bikram for a couple months, definitely recommend it. You leave with more energy than you come in with, great way to start the day.
Didn't have the problems that joie de vivre mentioned :yeshrug:
