You hold Gamepass for ~7 years Microsoft has made more money off you than they could trying to sell individual games. Also they keep all that money cause it’s going straight through their store.
On top of the fact that Gamepass games still sell very well, and sometimes getting on Gamepass has increased a games sales and dlc purchases.
The economics for Gamepass work just fine. It’s the old buy $60-$70 game then trade it in at GameStop that has the iffy economics right now.

It’s a great feature and probably the best one between the Switch and PlayStation. As a pure gamer who has no stock in any game company like damn near all of us, why does anyone care how much M$ is making or losing off Gamepass? This question ain’t for you meach but I see a lot of people complaining about essentially free games
