I liked the album, but as a Def Squad addict, I was hoping for the tracks to be a little harder.

If they would've done this album around '95, it would've been perfect. I was looking for joints like "Open Fire" and "How's That?" You get these three on an album together, you kinda want more funk production. But I fukked with about half of the album though.

Exactly!!

I was hoping for the album to sound like that. Erick had shifted to his "4,3,2,1" type of beats by El Nino. I wanted No Pressure, Insomnia, Double or Nothin, Muddy Waters Erick Sermon production. LOL!!

i hear you, i feel you 100% on that
that no pressure, insominia, double or nothin' and muddy waters era erick sermon was the best
the crazy thing is, erick would sample some of the same shyt over and over but always find ways of flippin' the sample into somethin' else

This is them at their best.

A whole album of this vibe would've been crazy.
