Best BCS championship was 2010 vs Oregon because we actually won

And the defense was to blame for that 2013 loss, FSU marched down the field in what 60 seconds with one timeout?
Breh when you got ur foot on somebody's neck 24-3 I believe it was, you gotta prepare for them nikkas to eventually fight back. The fact that Malzahn ain't even run a fake punt defense in that situation to close out the half perfectly represents his career here: shameful.

Also, the offense went to complete shyt in the third quarter (like it often did with Gus 13-14) and basically relied on great players making great plays in the 4th. I will say all that considering they could've won if we had a secondary & the refs weren't bytches, but it shouldn't have been close. Oregon proved you could break those nikkas' wills if you kept going. We nutted as soon we got in there, and I can't move past that until we break that cycle

  1. Prime Jon Jones vs. Prime Anderson Silva @ 205 lb. (catchweight fight at 205 lb. to decide greatest MMA fighter of all time)
  2. Barcelona 2011 vs. AC Milan 1989 (Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Villa, Busquets and co. vs Van Basten, Gullit, Baresi, Maldini, Rijkaard and co. to decide greatest club side of all time)
  3. Heat 2012-2013 vs. Warriors 2016-2017 (small-ball line up of: Steph-Klay-Iggy-KD-Draymond vs. Chalmers-Wade-Battier-Bron-Bosh)
  4. Late 90s Lennox Lewis vs. Early-mid 90s Riddikk Bowe (two of the most talented "Superheavyweights" of all time)
  5. Prime Roy Jones Jr. vs. Andre Ward @ 168 lb. (stylistically speaking, Ward's the only fighter I see presenting problems for RJJ at super-middleweight)
  6. '03 Tim Duncan vs. '94 Hakeem Olajuwon (battling it out down low in a game of 21 for post supremacy)

That whole 2013 season was some lightning in a bottle shyt. Everything that could have gone right for us did and the fact that it came right after that awful 3-9 season blinded folks to Malzahn's flaws

Four years later and the guy still hasn't developed a quarterback.... like think about it everyone clowned Nick Marshall when he was there but he looked like a HOF compared to the guys Gus has trotted out since

Yeah Malzahn can't develop a QB period, glad we finally let an outside source come in and run his offense. The way this guy he is, he could've made Jeremy at least a starter. Not a god, but at least someone that could run an offense. Gus had his time and it came and went, I think the new face is what makes me the most hopeful, not even just Stidham :ehh:
