not much of a difference when you think about. Roy wasnt particularly fast but he was crafty. same as Pierce.
next thing for Turner would be to work on his game a bit more. he's to inconsistent. every blue moon he'll disappear on you and have you thinking that he's no better than Wesley Johnson.
i hate having to use past tense talking about Roy. shyt breaks my heart.

Brandon Roy was always underrated athletically...dude used to throw down some dunks that'd surprise me...wasn't a freak, but to say that he was slow and relied on craftiness is wrong, imo. He was athletic and crafty, thus didn't need to rely on pure athleticism...it's a shame what happened to his knees...Portland needs to update their training staff or something, it's become a trend

paul pierce has the highest bball iq backcourt offensive game execution in the low bball iq era.
no backcourt ballplayer in this era has a higher backcourt offensive game bba iq other than when jordan came back.
i don't see turner being of that type of ilk as a ballplayer iq wise.
evan typically scores/rebounds/defends and uses his larger frame and stature position wise to bully, much smaller position players.
pierce consistently scores on anyone in any situation he chooses fit.
while, willing his way coupled with his iq,...better than any of his contemporaries.

now granted stevenson has real issues,...both have never been the olayer they were out of high school.
since turner has pg pedigree in a bigger than most sg frame.
that makes his potential ceiling higher than stevenson already.
i will also give turner's legit pr prowess to rebound.
higher than steven's reflective life ails and his recent championship achievements as well.
