The smack DVD and Jordan Tower films era :wow:. I refuse to listen to anybody say that.

Music was so magical back in 1998-2004. This to me was the platinum era of hip hop. Even as a QB, Pac and Bad Boy rap stan I truly believe that Rocafella and Ruff Ryders elevated that East Coast rap to another level. Every dude in SP could spit HARD, RAW shyt. Free, Oschino, Sparks, Beanie, Neef and Chris were all in rare form on this tape. I could only imagine if Peedi was discovered before then. Imagine him spitting over this crack :ohlawd:

Just Blaze and West in rare form. Album is a classic regardless.

Dope album, but their second was better. The addition of P. Crack was ridiculous

I thought so until I grew up. The ost to me was more consistent and had better production. But Temporary Relief, GAME, Rolling Down and State Prop You Know Us are very special songs to me :wow:

I bumped that album those 1st few night. Then that monday mornin' came and my mom called me and told me she bought me a bedroom set and to look out for the delivery man because he should be there shortly:blessed:

There was literally a two year period where Rocafella couldnt be stopped.
Come Home with Me
State Property OST
State Prop Chain Gang: Volume 2
Diplomatic Immunity
From Me to U
Philadelphia Freeway

These nikkas flooded the streets before G-Unit came knockin. Literally every season I had some Rocafella to rock to. (no pun intended) My memory was that it was a period my family moved to a new crib ...big house and all that. Me and my brothers for some reason all had to sleep in the same room and we had no furniture so we just slept on a mattress on the floor, It was around the time Grindin came out too If I ain't mistaken.

nikkas had State property, Lord Willin and Come Home with Me bumping on the boombox during my sleep while my brother talked to hoes on the late night tip. Back when nikkas used landlines :mjlol: My brother was psyched that we had our own phone line.

Man, the era and albums u mentioned, i was at such a high point in my life. 23-24 yrs old, own place, own car, money to spend, pickin up and leavin on the weekend just because, etc. Rocafella was the soundtrack to a good life for me:to:
