I work in the paper making industry and every man on my crew makes around 70k-90k.
4 of the men on my crew have "stay at home" wives/baby mothers. Nobody is starving or struggling, dudes are taking trips with their families. My co-worker Charles just got back from Vegas.

Everything cost.. But if a house wife don't want anything, and is satisfied with just surviving.. Then yes it's possible.. Kids taking the public school and modest lifestyle route as well..

$100k is a very comfortable salary, but it's not this baller grand income that everyone makes it out to be. Nice house, a couple of cars, and some foreign vacations.

Someone break down the number of people that make that where she live and give her a percentage. Might not be one but it'll be small enough that her viewpoint is unreasonable.
Then there is the stupid idea that being a housewife is glamorous. The role is about caring for the home not being pampered. Thots want all the benefits or traditional gender roles with none of the responsibility. They think a house wife is a trophy wife

Im not offended, it’s just wild to me that people say $100k isn’t all that when the majority of the US population doesn’t even sniff 2/3rds of that.
The salary you are making is relative to your lifestyle. If you are doing the things you describe, it isn’t going to go far at all (considering 100k after tax is ~87k, before considering other deductions). But someone who lives modestly (or even two people on one salary, depending on where they live) can make things work.
Personally I hate tweets like these because they are not founded in reality.

The premise of the tweet makes it seem like $100k is a baller income when it's really not. If we talking financial responsibility, you can barely afford a 320i. Don't even think about a M3 with the $80k msrp.
You can get a nice house, a couple of cars, OLED TVs, and a some European vacations.

@HarlemHottie Dont do shyt at home. She told me so. She doesn't elevate her husband mentally or spiritually. Just cooks and expects a lavish lifestyle BUT is allowed to not go to work. If it was me she would be getting ready to get off of work (PST) and making a list of groceries to pick up from the store for dinner tonight.
