You get back what you put in when it comes to stoking the furnace of peak performance so why voluntarily choose to push a rock uphill when your aim is ascent?

You can't out work a calorie surplus. If your bad diet includes a caloric deficit then yeah. But it's easy to overeat with bad foods and you'll feel like shyt.

You can eat some grilled chicken, feel full, and only consume 250 calories from that. One slice of pizza can easily be 500 calories, not make you feel full, and make you feel like shyt.

You're not burning 2000 calories unless you're an athlete. And the cravings you'll get from eating fast food make this unsustainable.

Technically you're right but someone following this advice is setting themselves up to fail.

it depends on how bad you're eating
are you eating more than 3 unhealthy meals a day? that's going to hinder you
if you have maybe 1 bad meal every 2 days it wouldn't be as bad but it'll slow down the process.
counting your macros is key. you can eat Mcdonalds as long as you're getting the right protein and carbs BUT your body will be so unhealthy.
which is why fitness is more important than asesthics. the people that get heart attacks when they're young do because they don't have any cardio in their routines so it's like they have the heart of a fat person or they're taking something.

99% of people don't work out like professional athletes with the genetics to match tho

They're not. Sweet potatoes, grains and brown rice are, also, you can drink but counteract with healthy eating. I'm a drinker so I eat healthy and drink liquor with no sugars or ranch waters.
How about light beer like michelob ultra or Miller lite
