Son I can guarantee Microsoft has a similar sentence in their TOS..it's the same on the PS3 as well..this has been on all forms of media for decades now bruh..it's not about Sony vs Microsoft at this point..even the Wii will have something like that in their TOS..VHS tapes..DVDs..games...CDs..whatever u can think of..

This has always been the case with these games.

It's just never enforced. Online drm is a way to enforce it

Polygon is credible only when they are saying something you stans agree with. Same goes for eurogamer, ign, or any other major publication.

Beyond any of that all they did was point out policy, in sony's own user liscense agreement. It's not like its an opinion piece or anything biased reporting could effect
