Not even a therapist. They say like 75% of therapy working is just about having an honest unjudgemental conversation. Conversations maybe you can't have with your family or friends for whatever reasons.

For me, I spoke to a black male therapist who's target patients were African Americans. Your OG's can drop gems all day but when its your time to talk and express yourself and your truths, it falls short of what THEY think you should do and how you should handle your life versus whats actually best for YOU IN your life.

At least that's why I eventually went.

Jesus said not to store up treasures for yourself here on earth but to store up treasures in heaven. You can't take money and gold with you when you die.

And that you can not worship both God and money. You can tell by looking at pastors. They're either ungodly hypocrites that spend church offerings on fancy cars, or they're extremely humble cats who drive a beat up Camry

Neither do I, money is a tool for me to increase my life, i.e. travel and learn so that I can grow as a person.

I don't know what self mastery is to be honest though. And can one ever achieve self mastery living in society? Influencers are everywhere and if you are on a path of mastery of self, there is the potential to be led astray.

Myself and plenty others want to "only use money as a tool" but that's slick talk I'm thinking. Trying to ride the fence.

but being rich does allow you to quit the devil if you choose and grow spiritually. I hope..
