No bullshyt or sarcasm, if this honestly happened, I know what game I'd pick :
Resident Evil : Code Veronica
This is actually one of my all time favorite games, definitely top 5. A lot of people don't seem to like it, it certainly doesn't have the fanbase of RE4...but this shyt always resonated with me. It's fun and campy like most of the RE games, but it also has this subtle comment of kinship and trust.
^ This opening cinematic....they don't make em like that anymore....
Reasons why it's a good pick :
1) It's relatively easy. Not so easy so that it would break the rules, but I'd say that it's probably the easiest RE game. It's the old fashion style of RE, very slow zombies with some occasional curveballs thrown at you....but it's not out of the realm of possibility to go through this game and not take a lot of damage. The dogs, hunters, bats, wasps, and banters would cause the biggest problems, but they are few and far between, and if all was on the line, I feel like I could concentrate enough to really avoid any serious mishaps.
2) Like I said, this is one of my all time faves. I actually just beat the XBLA version a few months ago. I *know* how to solve all the puzzles and how to do everything in the correct order to maximize my efficiency. I'd feel relatively comfortable going through this to save my fam.
3) There are 8 bosses...but 6 of them can be beaten without taking ANY damage, and I've done so in the past. The last boss is slightly more difficult, my wife is definitely taking some light cuts, but if all was on the line, I'd feel confidant enough to beat it without dying. It's not particularly hard, and every time I've played the game, by that point, I've always been loaded on herbs. There is one other boss that has given me trouble in the past, it's this giant worm thing that tunnels underground before it jumps up and hurts you...it's gotten me a couple of times. Still..nothing is perfect, it's a risk I'd be willing to take.
Me and my family are making it out of this, just give me the sticks, I've got this....
