As a lifelong GSDG member that finally converted over to iOS, this is true :ehh: There are still some things Android does better by far, but iOS does have the better experience.
My nexus is my mobile computer. I can't go back to apple.

Because of Android I cut cable, cut phone bill in half and stop carrying my laptop around. Can't beat that.

IOS is better optimized but android has way better utility. It always comes down to the user. Casual phone users will never take full advantage of Android and are easily better off on IOS

Agreed.

I've been down since the G1 and had like every Nexus. The N6 was so trash in the battery life area that I had to dip. I was tired of compromising vanilla android for battery life/camera.

As I've gotten older and optimized my devices at home, I found that I don't need to deal with subpar basic phone behavior. Being able to use my phone from 6:30 am to 9 pm on a single charge and take excellent pics of my kid is now more important than rooting and rom'ming. I will miss a few features though.

well finally my review. same as always, incredible hardware....with android on it. still got that lag. most widgets still corny and don't fit together

I miss podcast lounge on windows. But
it's great using an official YouTube app. great to have a twitter app and tumblr app that actually work lol. very very nice to have a bank of america app again. Loving chrome browser (hate it on pc).

Outlook sux, can't figure out how to stop it from pushing. cortana acting like she don't know me n shyt. I didn't realize how much I missed the games on android. the multitasking is nice as hell. nook and kindle are purdy.

overall. I cant wait to get my windows phone back. this phone will serve me well tho

i cant agree with you about the os. as far as user experience its the best imo. the app situation is hurt if you plan to use a million apps. official apps are trash but 3rd party alternatives are usually built out of love for the platform. as a result you get shyt like 6tag or mytube both completely shyt on the apps theyre based on. the neglect hurts in some places...like no uber partners app, no fallout shelter...but its not enough to say the whole shyt is trash. its not like w7 mobile...

tl:dr - yes. i love it and i cant wait to go back

:usure:no removable battery = no sale to me :scust: I bet the Note takes a hit because they took that out.
I was scared of no battery but it hasn't been a problem so far in my Sony Xperia Z1C

By the time the battery goes on this I will probably be ready for a new phone anyway.

And yea I can't do iOS just off the strength of ITunes

I can't fukk with not having a removable battery but s6 edge look sexy :ehh:

interested in hearing your take on the camera. is it as good as everyone says? :sayword:
In all my time owning phones...iphones, galaxies, blackberry, windows phones etc

I have NEVER ever needed to remove my battery. I'm not even sure why that is even an issue anymore.

You never know :mjcry:

I got over it too... one thing I am adamant about though is removable memory. I know mfers who are PROUD to pay for the data to access their own shyt from the cloud :dead:

:francis: More processing power, more battery drain. Batteries die and non-removable backs are hard as hell to open i.e. LG G2

How are you not even sure why it's an issue? I can see you not using the option but you don't see WHY it's an issue? :stopitslime:

One reason why I can't go back to the iPhone.... Why should I jailbreak a phone when Android does all that shyt out the box?

Not a big deal to you maybe, but being able to have the option to swap out my battery is important to me. I can get by without removable storage, but again, I like to be able to have the option. Just my preference. And I know that goes for a lot of people, it's just that some folks are more willing to bend because they want the shiniest new toy or don't want to make the effort. For a person who is on contract, it probably doesn't bother them as much because they are paying month to month and the difference in the monthly payments from 32 to 64 gigs is only a few bucks. But if you're like me and purchase phones off contract, there is usually about 100 dollar difference between the two storage sizes. I hate that because I'm not getting anything for that 100 bucks but more storage, and storage isn't that expensive. So part of it for me is preference and part of it is principle.
I liked the option too till I looked back at it and realized I never exercised it. If one can lug a extra battery around one could just as easily carry a charge cable. Most people are places they can plug up and get a quick charge. In their cars or in a building with power.

I purchase my phones off contract. I don't even sign 2 year deals anymore. I can sell last year's model and get this year's for pretty much what people who sign two years pay.
