It does too much, not streamlined like the iPhone.
She's getting notifications from everywhere. Widgets and shyt in the way. The home screen has some apps, but then she has to go into the app screen for the rest of them.
The messages screen is confusing and the translated voice mail is trash.
Camera quits working at low battery. Battery life sucks
all she has to do is turn off the notifications. that was the first thing i did. you can move your widgets around anyway you like. thats on you. the home screen isnt supposed to fill in ALL of your apps. its supposed to be there for your most used goto apps.
for instance. mines are voice mail(i aint never going to use that stupid video voice crap from verizon stop trying to steal from people lol, and i aint using that voice to text crap, that tech isnt spot on yet anyway with no phone."
so i got my favorite so i can get straight to my regular voice mail. more like a link icon named voice mail. the default stuff obviously phone/contacts, my google maps, and a few other things i used on the regular basis. the scroll over screens, its my 2nd tier of most used apps. after that. any thing else i think i might use on occasion goes in the normal app area where you can pull that up by hitting apps. now if you are hell bent on having ALL of your apps in the scroll over screen from the default home screen. then start using folders. just move stuff in together and name the folder something you so you can remember whats in there. it aint hard at all and takes seconds to do. if you're really lazy go find an app that will organize the stuff for you.
once you do it once you dont have to do it again.
anyone complaining about any of these $200+ smart phones at this point is just complaining to complain. UNLESS you're really using it for work purposes. most people arent. most folks are making calls, listening to music, watching movies, surfacing the net, and perhaps tracking their workouts, and taking selfies and a few nature shots. i mean lets be honest. we aint doing that much with these phones. do we really need 200 apps? NO. we need like 10 to 20 solid apps and thats about it. do we need 60+ gigs of space? NO. get those pics off the phone and upload them to the cloud or put them on your computer/laptop. and empty your phone folder so you can have space again.
