I really want to believe this. If they fukk this up, this will be the FOURTH time they've set up a "We've never seen this aggressive side of Kofi before!
" storyline, and this will be FOURTH time that they didn't go anywhere with it. I'm assuming he sells a decent amount of merchandise to kids, so the E doesn't want to fukk it up by straying too far away from the "Boom! Boom! Boom!" shyt.
But dude needs a character change FAST. He has one of the most stale characters in the WWE right now. This nikka's been in the WWE for five years, and the most they've done with him is stop pretending he was Jamaican?
And on top of that, I hope they don't fukk up this feud with Barrett. Despite their vastly different styles, they have fantastic in-ring chemistry, and they really bring the best out of each other. This is one of the best feuds in the WWE right now, and these are both guys the E seem to want to push, so if they do this right, this would be fantastic for both of them. But if they fukk it up, Barrett goes back to the joke of a heel he was when he first came back and/or Kofi goes back to being midcard jobber until Evan Borne and/or R-Truth come back and he can get another tag title run.
Considering the current competency of the WWE creative team, guess which one I'm betting on.
