Meanwhile Bird is a better playmaker BY A MILE and is a large reason why he actually led teams to rings.

The only small forward you can say is better than Bird is LeBron - who could also score and playmake, and had a higher defensive ceiling than Bird

No he's not better than Bird. Maybe he has a deeper bag offensively in terms of scoring. But Birds passing and intangibles in his prime were all time great and way better thab KD. Bird contributed more to impact the overall game and it led to wins. The thing is most people here never watched him. I can never not tip my hat to someone that hustled like that. Where as KD has built a soft reputation around his aura. To make what Bird did even more improbable is that he was a redneck from bum fukk no where playing in a black sport. The thing is due to the race tensions back in the 80s he never really got props from brothers back then.
