I wouldn't surprise me though if the black race in America becomes so diluted in 100 years that the average black man looks like Blake Griffin. Sure AA may not be out bleaching their skin, but many subconsciously view lighter features as more attractive and would rather get with a non-black so that their children and grandchildren will have those features. Of course some blacks outside of America also feel this way but it seems strongest in America because it is a white dominated society.

but why do we make a distinction between african americans and africans? white people want us to do that. we are all black. and right now, the black african population is exploding, pushing us close to asians in terms of global population numbers. there are more of US (black people) than there are of them (white people). and that's a fact that needs to be explained to these black people who suffer from self-hate. we outnumber them. and they've tried to close that margin, but they haven't succeeded.

No they don't. Maybe when they come to the U.S. but in the islands (outside of Latin American countries which are white dominated and of course many blacks will fall victim to viewing whiter as better) most stick to their race, most islands are black dominated anyway so its not as if they have much interracial options anyway.
