You ever feel like the Internet is the worst thing that has happened to humanity?

All the shyt were exposed to, how anything you wanna look up is just clicks away. The sites like worldstar that corrupt minds, and twitter where extreme hate and racism is put out every second of the day.

Growning up as a kid we would play sports and go outdoors, now days you have these kids getting corrupted from the net.

Don't get me wrong it has it uses for sure but we lived without it before.

No shyt Sherlock, hes saying that our kids are exposed to a whole lot more than we were and its not necessarily a good thing. You don't even need to read books anymore to do your homework, just Google one sentence and you good.

Think about all the porn you can access with just a click, not even gonna lie I was dissapointed because my first time fukkin she wasnt good as a pornstar, like dude said worldstarhiphop might be one of the most corrupt sites ever, you might not see the negativity yet but you will eventually.

With facebook and everything else around this generation will be the one thats most messed up yet

Why the hell are there so many "geezer whining" threads on the-coli where people post shyt that they think is unique to our current generation of young people? All I hear is about:

• The current generation is disrespectful.
• The current generation is oversexed.
• The current generation is too drugged out.
• The current generation doesn't value important skills.
• The current generation lacks wisdom.
• The current generation is going to send this country to hell in a handbasket.

The current generation is smarter, better connected, and more charitable than generations past. They also are exposed to sites outside of the ones mentioned that allow them to practice philanthropy worldwide, debate heated political issues with people from all over the world, and produce/broadcast their own artwork on a whim. You really should be giving them more credit and perhaps be willing to learn some things from them, because the unique perspective that they have being born into such a telecommunicative world can help you adjust to make yourself a more productive and mentally prepared man for decades to come.

Or you can complain about how you "just don't understand" them. I'd suggest opting for learning from them, though.

Young vs Older Donors: Who is More Generous?

I'm part of that generation tho and I can say that this generation in not necessarily smarter. sure you can be informed a lot easier nowadays i.e wikipedia, but having a lot of knowledge doesn't make you smart.
Anyone who's ever been to a political forum can tell you that most of the "kids" that post there formulate their sentences and views like John F. Kennedy but talk like Ralph Wiggum in real life.

Would you still respect 2pac after seeing a video of him gettin dug out in prison?

Would you still respect a Biggie who seemed to act a whoooole lot like Rick Ross does these days. People on this forum would pull his card instantly.

There would be numerous threads on Snoop and Nas getting robbed.

there is absoluetly no respect for rappers this day and age, most rappers in the 80's and 90's can thank god that worldstar, Tmz, and most blogs/forums weren't around back then.

Nah, this shyt is GREAT!!!! Only downside is the lessening of human-to-human contact, but even that is a good thing, IMO. I don't like being in groups of people and were the 'Net around when I was a kid, I'd have probably gotten several scholarships instead of becoming a drug dealer who joined the Military.​

The internet has benefitted society a lot just by making things convinient. (like e-mail shopping online, even socializing etc)

But there are a bunch of negatives that came with it just like anything. like identity theft, kids being exposed to shyt they should see, anti-social behavior, people glued to their phones etc

And don't even let me get started on cyber bullying I mean you got highschoolers who talk shyt on facebook but won't say a word to each other in real life. WTF

At least back in the myspace days this stuff wasn't as common.
