Naw not really, just beat out 20+ with more experience than me for a job at an airline, just picked up einsteins theory of relativity and I understand it when I read with patience, people say I'm smart, and to round things off I come on here and troll/shyt on nikkas.

I feel I've just have had no choice but to prove naysayers wrong all my life. Like, I've always had to prove myself to other people. It got tiring, but it made me who I am and made me value hard work and determination.

I guess I have issues at times. Being somewhat Mexican, I've had some shyt thrown at me.

"I think you would be good at landscaping."

Now I will say off the bat that I am far from the smartest person you will ever know, and that I probably will never be uber rich. Being said though I am dedicated at trying to achieve more than my parents. My dad used to be illegal, and he did cross over the border back in the 80's to try and achieve the dream.

What did that get him, dishwasher duties and 3rd shift jobs because there was no 'room' for 1st shifts.

There are just times where I swear I am perceived as something, and somebody who is destined to fail. Still though I am at the point in my life where I just don't give a shyt what people think of me. Just because in a sense while my life isn't perfect I am having slow strides in becoming something better. There is some shyt I wish would happen in my life, but I got to go what is dealt so far.

True sooo true. Especially coming up as a first gen African/West Indian in Pittsburgh. But I' ve been slept on by black folks too whoadie.

Coming up as a house/electronica DJ/Producer...and hell, even when I was younger in high school... I've had many other black people that approached me about the music I liked, why I skated, why I did this why I did that..

"you skate?"
"you like techno?"
"why you messing with that white boy shyt?"

Because I didn't play basketball, skated, wore skate clothes, I felt like a leper to black folks. Thank god I'm older now and things have slightly changed.
